В отрицательном предложении частица not стоит после личной формы глагола to be.

he, she, it is not

Примеры:

I am not at home now. - Я сейчас не дома.

I am not a student. - Я не студент.

You are not a teacher. - Ты не учитель.
She is not my sister. - Она не моя сестра.
We are not students. - Мы не студенты.
You are not a family. - Вы не семья.
They are not friends. - Они не друзья.
